Rogers, Addie A. Married James Edwin Moss (Moss, James Edwin), he served in the 25th North Carolina Regiment. Also, many of his brothers served in the Civil War. David Moss, served as a private in the 25th North Carolina Regiment, and Sergeant in the 62nd North Carolina Regiment; James E. Moss, 25th North Carolina Regiment; John J. Moss, 25th North Carolina Regiment; William W. Moss (Moss, William W.), served in the 25th North Carolina Regiment; Milton Moss Jr. (Moss, Milton , Jr.), is believed to have served as a private in the 1st Cavalry Regiment of North Carolina, and later as a Corporal in the 62nd North Carolina Regiment. Their uncle, William Monroe Moss (Moss, William Monroe ), served in the 25th North Carolina Regiment. Also, other relatives served in the 25 North Carolina Regiment. It is believed their cousin, Howell Moss, also served in the 25th Regiment of North Carolina.
